It’s that time of year again; the Ann Arbor Farmers Market is filling with spring’s finest bounty as the warm season pushes out the cold.
With the literal fruits of mother nature on full display in baskets, sacks, and pots thoughtfully laid out across dozens of tables there’s never been less of a reason to not visit 315 Detroit Street in Ann Arbor’s historic Kerrytown district.
WeLoveAnnArbor.com will be visiting the farms from which these fine locally grown agricultural products come from in an effort to give our growing readership a better understanding of the lives of local farmers and why what they do provides an important benefit to their community.
This Saturday the market is opened from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those visiting this weekend who came out this past Wednesday will probably see many many different items compared to what was for sale earlier in the week.
“New items are coming in everyday, such as asparagus, rhubarb, and tons of greens,” said Stephanie Willette, Farmers Market Manager.
