Opening Day: Skyline Eagles football team takes flight

The Skyline football team celebrated a long touchdown run to end its first morning practice on Monday.

It was a nice way to finish up a long morning of drills, conditioning and learning Andrew Sorgatz’s system.

The Eagles open the season Aug. 25 against Saginaw Arthur Hill and the Okemos on Sept. 1 before opening SEC action Sept. 8 against Monroe.

Skyline lost its first three games last year before winning four of the next five. The Eagles finished 4-5.
