Hill Street: Thursday, Sept. 14
Beginning Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, Hill Street between Geddes Avenue and Onondaga Street will be closed to through traffic in the westbound direction for approximately three weeks during partial-depth pavement removal, drainage and concrete work and street repaving in conjunction with the City of Ann Arbor’s Street Resurfacing – 2017 project.
The contractor will stage the construction, and work on one-half of the street at a time while maintaining one lane of vehicular traffic in the eastbound direction on the other half.Westbound traffic will be detoured using Geddes Ave., Observatory St. and Washtenaw Ave. The contractor will maintain pedestrian traffic and access to residences within the work zone for the entire project duration. Access for emergency vehicles will also be maintained.
Due to the proposed construction activities, it will be necessary for the contractor to restrict on-street parking so that work can proceed in a timely manner.
Victors Way: Monday, Sept. 25-Wednesday, Sept. 27
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, Victors Way between South State Street and Boardwalk Drive will be closed for underground utility work.
Westbound Victors Way will be detoured north on Boardwalk Dr., west on Eisenhower Pwky and south on South State St. Eastbound Victors Way will be detoured north on State St., east on Eisenhower Pwky and south on Boardwalk Dr.
Pedestrian traffic on the north side of Victors Way will be detoured to the south side of Victors Way. Work is expected to be completed by close of business on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
