The Pioneer swimming and diving team had few problems with Monroe on Feb. 8 in an SEC dual-meet.
The Pioneers opened with a win in the 200 medley relay as the team of Bolin Li, Jack Houston, Dylan Bao and Adam Orringer-Hau won in 1:41.34.
Pioneer swept the 200 free with Li taking first (1:55.37), Jack Bajcz in second (1:59.21) and Cameron Serr third (1:59.56). The Pioneers also swept the IM with Cam Williston in first (2:06.75), Anthony McDonough second (2:15.78) and Sung-Jae Lee third (2:19.93).
In the 50 free, Orringer-Hau won in 21.64 with Matthew Segal second (22.18) and Bao in third (23.25).
The Pioneers swept the diving with Cole Tremewan taking first with 260.35 points. Alex Damm was second (160.30) and Adam Richards third (157.50).
In the butterfly, Pioneer took the top three spots with Shashank Chandru first (54.41), Tyler Sakalys-Moore second (57.15) and Segal third (58.08).
In the 100 free, Trent Hitchins won in 50.97 with Koa Williams second (53.26) and Gabe Labadie third (53.52).
Serr was fourth in the 500 free in 5:35.71.
The Pioneer foursome of Hitchins, McDonough, Joe Krushelnick and Chandru took first in 1:38.26.
Pioneer swept the backstroke with Sakalys-Moore in first (57.84), Bao in second (1:01.15) and Vaughn Hajra third (1:02.65).
Another sweep for Pioneer in the breaststroke as Orringer-Hau took first in 1:00.38, Kyle Liu was second in 1:01.09 and Alex Broughton third in 1:09.31.
Pioneer finished the meet in first place in the 400 free relay as the team of Segal, Li, Bao and Orringer-Hau won in 3:22.36.
