Champion Gymnastics in Ann Arbor is giving folks a chance to learn what so many others have learned over the past 20 years. The local and well-regarded gymnastics training center has provided state of the art gymnastics and creative movement classes to the Dexter-Ann Arbor area going on two decades.
Current owners Launie and Dave Aben became involved with Champion in 2011 and in 2015 became the sole owners of the longstanding business.
“We pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere and our commitment to safety,” says Launie. “We encourage you to stop by to see what we’re all about. We can’t wait to welcome you to the family.”
Champion will host their annual Champion Gymnastics Carnival themed open house from noon to 3 p.m., on Aug. 25. There will be plenty to do and see including face painting, balloons, obstacle courses, an open gym, bounce houses – and all for free.
This year they will have food and drinks for purchase benefiting the Big “E” Foundation: http://www.bigefoundation.org/ “The main purpose for the event is just to get new people in to check it out,” says Kayla Samuels. “It’s a community event just to get people in to see the space, ask questions, enroll for classes, meet the coaches, etc. It’s become a really fun event for our current families, and a way for new families to become involved.”
