Burns Park expansion, LA Fitness among site-plan projects

Burns Park Elementary School site plan. A plan to install four modular units that when assembled together will create a 4,844-square foot, four-classroom building with restrooms, stemps and ramps and covered walkways.

A proposed site plan to demolish the existing English Gardens building at 155 N. Maple Road, and construct a new 34,000-square foot LA Fitness building and 150 parking spaces. The site will be accessed through the Maple Village shopping center and share additional parking spaces with the shopping center. Site is 2.6 acres, zoned C3 Fringe Commercial. Ward 5.

The Cottages at Barton Green – Site Plan for City Council Approval, with Landscape Modifications – 2601 Pontiac Trail. The proposed development, located in the R4A Zoning District, will include a mixture of townhomes and two-family homes that are two to three stories in height, 227 total units ranging from 1-bedroom to 6-bedroom units. The proposed development will also include a one-story maintenance building and community building with pool area. 597 vehicular parking spaces are proposed. Landscape Modifications are requested to provide flexibiltiy with conflicting land use buffers. Local Wetland Use Permit needed.

The Gallery, on South Ashley St., is a proposed Site Plan for City Council approval, with Planned Project Modifications requested to exceed the Maximum required front setback on S Ashley by 11.77 feet and to allow a four story streetwall height. The proposed project, located at 441 S Ashley & 112, 116 and 118 W Jefferson comprise a lot area of 17,449 square feet. The proposed development will be a 23 unit residential development in one 34,810 square foot building. The site is zoned D2.
