Aw C’mon! Not Potholes Already!

The Washtenaw County Road Commission is cautioning us that the sudden, unseasonably warm weather has created a much too early pothole season, hopefully short lived.

While road crews are scurrying around dabbing cold patch on our roads like tissue after a really bad shave, here’s a brief explanation of what they’re up against. During freeze/thaw cycles, the little craters form, and reform, faster than repair crews can keep up with them.
