Boys Basketball: Skyline celebrates Senior Night with easy win over Romulus  


The Skyline boys’ basketball team celebrated Senior Night in grand fashion against Romulus as the host Eagles improved to 19-0 on the season with an easy 95-53 win over the visiting Eagles Tuesday night.

All five seniors started the game with Brandon Wade, Jack Ammerman, Darius Hall, Charlie Fry and Omar Aggour. Skyline jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter where Brandon Wade had 11 points, Jack Ammerman had eight points, Charlie Fry had two points, Darius Hall had great rebounding and Omar Aggour had a “jump out of your seat” block.

Skyline led 21-7 after the first quarter.

Skyline continue to build the lead throughout the game by mixing defenses and causing turnovers. Skyline had a 55-31 lead at half, then 82-50 lead after the third quarter and a running clock with over a 40-point lead for most of the fourth quarter.

Brandon Wade finished with 35 points. Ammerman had 26 points. Ryan Wade had a great game on both ends of the court and finished with 15 points. Spencer Morgan was great on the boards and protecting the paint and finished with 7 points. Darius Hall had 4 points. Charlie Fry, Kabir Bergin, Jaylin Cooper and Robert Malcolm Jr. each had 2 points.

Skyline will try to make it a perfect regular season on Thursday at Chelsea.
