Dexter Wellness Center: Go Further With Food

The latest from Dexter Wellness Center‘s Cheri McLean:

March is National Nutrition Month®. This campaign was created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in response to the growing public interest in nutrition. The purpose of this month is to focus on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.

This year’s theme is “Go Further with Food.” Choosing the foods you eat during each meal makes a difference in your health and fitness. Whether you’re training for a sports event or going about your daily routine, eating healthy options will fuel your mind and body so that you look and feel great.

Chelsea Wellness Center offers nutritional counseling. Meet with a registered dietitian to discuss your personal needs on a variety of nutritional topics. One of our registered dietitians can help you with planning and reaching your nutritional goals.

For more information on our special event or nutritional counseling call, 734-214-0220.

Join us for our special event “Go Further with Food” held at Chelsea Wellness Center on Monday, March 19, from 6:30 -7:30 pm.

Cheri McLean is the Member Services Manager for Dexter Wellness Center. She holds a BA in Physical Education from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Education from the University of Toledo. Her specialty is running and wellness. Cheri recently was the Wellness Coordinator for Dexter Community Schools.
