Girls lacrosse: Hunter assists Pioneer’s win over Brighton

The Pioneer girls’ lacrosse team scored their second win of the season with an impressive 9-7 win over visiting Brighton on Tuesday.

It was a total team effort for the home team. Five of the Pioneers goals were assisted with junior Julia Hunter leading the way with three assists.

“I was feeling a little anxious since it had been two weeks since our last game, but then I think we really started getting back into the swing of things,” Hunter said. “I was just trying to help my team WIN and get my teammates to score as much as possible so that we could play our best game.”

Mission accomplished, Julia!

Pioneer’s next game is at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 9 at Hollway Field against Perrysburg (Ohio).
