Detour ahead: Road closure updates for Ann Arbor


Packard: ​Thursday, April 19 – Monday, April 23, 2018. Beginning on Thursday, April 19, Packard ​​between Chesterfield Drive and ​Sunnyside Park Drive will have an outside lane, in each direction, closed to traffic for installation​ of an RRFB. Work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes.

South Main Street: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, South Main Street between William and Packard will be closed to vehicle traffic for crane work on the 400 block of South Main Street.

Southbound Main Street will be detoured east on William Street, south on Fourth Avenue, west on Packa​rd Street and then back to South Main Street. Northbound traffic will be detoured east on Packard Street, north on Fourth Avenue, west on William Street and back to South Main Street. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east side of South Main Street for the public’s safety.

South Huron Parkway: Monday, April 23 – Monday, April 30, 2018. Beginning on Monday, April 23, South Huron Parkway between Washtenaw and Geddes Avenue will experience intermittent single lane closures in each direction of travel​ to accommodate asphalt patching at various locations. Work will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and is expected to continue through Monday, April 30, 2018, weather permitting.​​
