Girls Lacrosse: Pioneer welcomes back former player, now a coach

Ally Borys, a 2010 Ann Arbor Pioneer lacrosse graduate, brought her Whitney Young team up from Chicago for a contest at the Michigan Lacrosse Stadium vs. her alma mater on Saturday.

The Pioneers came away with a 14-2 win.

Pioneer was led by goalie Grace Kang and her season high seven saves.

“It’s always great to have alumni around the program,” Pioneer coach Zachary Maghes said. “I have been blessed with having former players wanting to give back and coach at Pioneer the last 10 years. This is the first time I have had an alumni comeback for a mentor vs. mentee battle though.”
