Farmers Market Opening Day
Opening Day for the Dexter Farmers Market is Saturday, May 5, 2018. Market hours will be Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm. Visit the Market this Saturday and enjoy seasonal produce, homemade baked goods and handcrafted art work. The Hudson Education Center’s Rising Stars will be providing entertainment between 10 am -12 pm.
Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm will be the first day for the Tuesday market.
On Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10 am to noon (while supplies last), the Market will be offering its annual Mother’s Day craft for kids 12 and under.
Baker Road Gas Main Relocation
Construction season starts in Dexter on Monday, May 7, 2018.
In preparation for the roundabouts project, a DTE contractor will be relocating a gas main along Baker between Shield and Dan Hoey. During non-rush hour times, the contractor will need to reduce Baker Rd to one lane; two way traffic will be maintained with flagging. This project will start on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 9 am. This project will occur during the closure of Dexter Ann Arbor from Dan Hoey to Zeeb; drivers concerned about delay should consider taking Dexter Chelsea to Parker to Jackson to Baker to access I-94.

Host an Artist for the Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival
The Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival is fortunate to be able to host highly acclaimed artists from all-over the United States and Canada. However, between travel and lodging, participating in Festivals can be an expensive proposition for out-of-town artists. With this in mind, we are reaching out to Dexter-area residents on behalf of the artists to find people that may be interested in hosting one of the artists from Monday, August 13th through Saturday, August 18th. Community Garden
