Pioneer hosts Picnic Pops featuring local school bands on May 19


Picnic Pops– A citywide ice cream social!

WHAT: Picnic Pops

WHO: AAPS Middle and High School Bands perform all day!

WHEN:  Saturday, May 19, 2018

10:00 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

WHERE: Pioneer High School, 601 West Stadium

ADMISSION: Free to the public

PARKING:  Free PHS parking lot

Picnic Pops:  Be part of a long tradition!  Come enjoy this city-wide ice cream social featuring music from AAPS bands:

+ Huron, Pioneer, and Skyline High Schools

+ Clague, Forsythe, Scarlett, Slauson, Tappan Middle Schools, and Ann Arbor Open School

There will be many family-friendly games including a “Four Legged Friends” themed Cake Walk, Ring Toss, and more.  And, no need to leave the concert for lunch! There are plenty of picnicy type foods: grilled hot dogs, cotton candy, pizza, ice cream, doughnuts, and you can’t have Picnic Pops without the soda pop.

Join us as we welcome warmer days with hot music from cool kids!
