Hot New Horror Flick ‘Hereditary’ has Ties to Ann Arbor


Have you seen the horror film “Hereditary” that every one is talking about? We are excited to see two screen credits connected to Ann Arbor!

“Hereditary” tells the story of the matriarch of the Graham family who after passing away, her daughter’s family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry.

A couple of Ann Arborites were part of the action:

Colin Stetson: The multi-instrumentalist who was born in Ann Arbor and attended the University of Michigan School of Music was behind the eerie music of the popular new film. Check out how he created the score!

Mike Gould, Illuminatus Lasers: An Arts Alliance member, Ann Arbor native Gould and his Illuminatus Lasers team did the amazing laser work for the film. Critics are raving about the lighting design!
