Volunteers needed
Love a Rain Garden Day! Saturday, July 21, 10 a.m.-noon, Hunt Park Rain Garden. Join GIVE 365 on this summer day to tackle the thistle that is throughout the rain garden. We will also be doing a park cleanup to make sure the playground and fields are looking their best. Learn how this rain garden stores and cleans water that lands on the grassy fields. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. 1035 Daniel St.

Looking for a group volunteer opportunity?
GIVE 365 have many park beautification projects that are perfect for groups and organizations looking to do service, community engagement, and team building! We will work with you to find a date, time, and project that suits your group. We work in about 110 parks and facilities and can always find one that could benefit from volunteer energy. Groups can be as small as four and as big as 50. A typical work day would be two hours long but we can adjust as needed. Projects typically can entail: landscape beautification, painting/stenciling, playground wood chip spreading, rain garden maintenance, and/or a litter clean up. If you are interested in scheduling, contact us with information about the group size, preferred date, and any details regarding group abilities or interest. We will then take a look at what parks need attention and come up with some options. GIVE 365 brings all the necessary tools and supplies, but the volunteers bring the energy and heart! 734.794.6445. http://www.a2gov.org/volunteer
