CAN Golf Outing
You can still register for the Community Action Network’s annual golf outing. Saturday, Aug. 25 at 9 a.m. at Leslie Park Golf Course. Funds raised benefit CAN’s after school programs. https://www.canwashtenaw.org/golf

Fall/Winter registration is underway
Name the season, and City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation will have the features and amenities to ensure visitors can make the most of it — sun, rain and snow, alike. Registration online or in person for fall and winter classes and activities is now open (http://www.a2gov.org/parksregister). You can view the 55-page guide online at http://www.a2gov.org/parks or pick one up at any parks facility as well as Larcom City Hall.

Next year marks 100 years of bringing our community great produce and more!
Saturday, August 25: Donate whole produce and unrefrigerated, packaged goods to the Food Gatherers of Washtenaw County booth at the Market to fight hunger where we live. Come shop and enjoy truckloads of locally-grown summer foods including watermelon, sweet cherries, berries, peaches, mushrooms, garlic, summer squash and squash flowers, eggplant, okra, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and more. Wednesday and Saturday 7 a.m.-3 p.m. FREE parking in the Market lot on Wednesdays and at the Ann & Ashley parking structure on Saturdays during market hours. 315 Detroit St.

Love a Park Day
Sunday, Aug. 26, 1-3 p.m. Olson Park. 1505 Dhu Varren. Help clean up this beautiful 54 acre park! We’ll be focusing on picking up litter from the trails and soccer fields, pulling invasives in the rain garden, cleaning up the play areas, and painting the shelter. A2 Skate Park Clean-up
Saturday, Sept. 1, noon-1 p.m. Lend a hand and help keep our wonderful skate park at Veteran’s Memorial Park clean and trash-free for all of its patrons! Meet at the parking lot off Maple Rd. Love a Park Day with GIVE 365

Concert in the Park
For more than 40 years, David Tamulevich and Michael Hough have been making music together as the duo Mustard’s Retreat. Having originally started out as a trio, one-time member Libby Glover is rejoining Mustard’s Retreat for a concert in Burns Park. Sunday, Aug.26, 3 p.m., free. Fuller Park Pool Extended Season Passes

Board Game Fun
Playing board games is a fun, social experience. Come out for an afternoon of mystery and detective work; slide, collide, but don’t be Sorry; or grab your train ticket for a cross country adventure. Beginning Sept. 5 at 12:30 p.m. meet new people and play a variety of board games at the Ann Arbor Senior Center. Games available: Clue, Sorry, Ticket to Ride, Tripoley, Rummikub and more. Fee: free for members, $2 nonmember.
