Golf: Skyline improves to 5-1 on the season with a team score of 188

The Skyline girls’ golf team keeps lowering their scores and increasing their win total – not surprising that those two things go together.

The Eagles added three more wins to their grand total and improved to 5-1 in the early season with wins over Dexter, Huron and Ypsilanti on Wednesday afternoon. Huron and Ypsilanti didn’t have enough golfers to fill out the scorecard (a team needs four).

Skyline shot a team score of 188. Dexter fired a team score of 207.

Cammi Tirico led the way for the Eagles with an impressive 44 on the Hudson Mills Metro course. Three other Eagles broke 50: Addy Meadows (47), Nikki Lama (48) and Alison Marshall (49). Amber Hing fired a 50 for her round. Grace Hescheles shot a 60 to complete the Skyline scorecard.
