The culvert replacement project that closed Mast Road between North Territorial Road and Strawberry Lake Road has been completed and the road opened late Monday afternoon, Oct 1, for traffic once again.
Much to the consternation of commuters, the work was stalled for three weeks due to a work stoppage resulting from a contract dispute between contractors and workers. A temporary agreement was reached and work resumed Tuesday, Sept 25, with the project completed a week later.
Pavement markings will be installed on Wednesday, October 3, weather pending. This work will not impede traffic.
