The Skyline varsity tennis team played excellent tennis this past week in two difficult matches.

Greenhills defeated the Eagles in the hot sun on Wednesday. There were a lot of close games and the tennis was exciting to watch.

The Eagles then traveled to Port Huron Northern on Thursday. With a few players absent, positions were altered and the team played very well. Sam Begosso played No. 2 singles that day and won. Michael Zhou (#1 doubles player) defeated his opponent playing #4 singles spot.

Charlie Slone and Kethan Thomas played up one spot to #1 doubles and won their matches. All matches were extremely close with strong tennis played. The Eagles were defeated overall losing by only two points.

The Eagles play their last home match at 4 p.m. on Tuesday against Grand Blanc.
