The latest updates on road construction in our area:
New
Jeffords Street from the alley (behind the PNC/Hackney Hardware) to the corner of Forest and Broad will be closed starting 10-11-18 and is expected to reopen 11-08-18. The street will be open Sundays during construction. The alley behind PNC Bank and Hackney Hardware will remain open.
Traffic Counters: Dexter Community Schools is conducting traffic and pedestrian counts on Dan Hoey between Baker and Ann Arbor Street and on Baker between Dan Hoey and Hudson. The counts are done with cameras that are mounted to sign posts. The data collection is expected to be completed by 10-15-18.
Ongoing
Dexter-Chelsea Rd between Freer Rd and Steinbach Rd will continue to have intermittent lane closure while a DTE gas line is replaced. Work is expected to be finished 10-19-18.

Jackson Rd at Wagner Rd pedestrian crossings improvements.
Sager Rd west of Fletcher Rd guardrail replacement.
Pleasant Lake Rd east of Schneider Rd installation of a guardrail.
