Election 2018: Permanent polling place changes

 

City Elections are held in the City of Ann Arbor every even year. Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in August (Primary) and November (General). Polling places are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on election days.  The City Clerk is the City’s chief elections officer and is responsible for the administration of all City Elections.

Permanent Polling Place Change, Ward 1, Precinct 4 (1-4) Relocated to 2nd Baptist Church, 850 Red Oak Drive

At the request of the Ann Arbor Community Center, 625 N. Main Street will no longer be a City polling site. Voters assigned to this Precinct (Ward 1, Precinct 4) will be permanently relocated to a new polling place at 2nd Baptist Church, 850 Red Oak Drive, beginning with the November 6, 2018 General Election. All affected voters in Precinct 1-4 will receive a new voter ID Card alerting them of the new polling place assignment. Permanent Polling Place Change, Ward 1, Precinct 9 (1-9) Relocated to Logan Elementary School

Due to the addition of new precincts in the City, voters assigned to Precinct 1-9 was permanent relocated to a new polling place at Logan Elementary School, 2685 Traver Road, along with new Precinct 1-11, starting with the August 7 Primary Election. All affected voters in Precincts 1-9 and 1-11 received a new voter ID Card alerting them of the new polling place assignment. Please email or call the City Clerk for more information.

Temporary Polling Place Change, Ward 1, Precincts 1 and 12 (1-1 and 1-12) Relocated to Rackham Graduate School

Due to scheduled construction beginning in April 2018 at the Michigan Union, 530 S. State Street, voters assigned to Precincts 1-1 and 1-12 will be assigned to a temporary polling place at the Rackham Graduate School, 915 E. Washington Street, for the remainder of 2018 and 2019. All affected voters in Precincts 1-1 and 1-12 received new voter ID cards alerting them of the temporary polling place change. New cards will be sent again to voters upon the return to the Michigan Union. Temporary Polling Place Change, Ward 4, Precincts 1 (4 -1) Relocated to UM Coliseum

Due to scheduled construction beginning in April 2018 at the Michigan Union, 530 S. State Street, voters assigned to Precinct 4-1 will be assigned to a temporary polling place at the UM Coliseum for all scheduled elections in 2018. All affected voters in Precinct 4-1 received a new voter ID Card alerting them of the temporary polling place change. New cards will be sent again to voters upon the return to the Michigan Union. Clerk’s Office Saturday Hours for AV Ballots -Nov. 3, 2018, 8am – 2pm

General Election – Tuesday, November 6, 2018

Special Elections

Special elections may be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May as needed.
