Author David Quinn, who attended Ann Arbor’s Burns Park and Greenhills Schools (Class of ’78) where he was active in music and theater, returns to his hometown on Saturday, Nov. 24 for a book signing at Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor.
Quinn is now a NYC based writer.
“I learned to read and write in Ann Arbor so it’s going to be great fun to return home to sign my new book at the Vault of Midnight,” said Quinn.
The meet and greet and story time signing event (noon to 3 p.m.) supports the launch of Quinn’s new book, “Go To Sleep, Little Creep” and #shopsmall, which celebrates local independent businesses that help make local communities special.
“Go To Sleep, Little Creep” is a rhyming picture book with humor and heart that’s a wonderful bedtime addition for the “little monster” in your life. The book features illustrations from bestselling author/illustrator Ashley Spires of The Most Magnificent Thing.
Even monsters have to go to sleep. But before little trolls turn out the light and werewolves settle in to dream, there’s fur to be brushed, pajamas to find, and moons that need howling. So grab your cuddly critter and snuggle in for this new bedtime tradition.
The book is a wondrously funny and supremely sweet picture book sure to charm little creeps who aren’t quite ready to fall asleep.
Vault of Midnight is located at 219 S. Main St.
