Summit on Challenging the Racial & Economic Caste System is Jan. 26

 

The Washtenaw County Poor People’s Campaign is hosting a summit on January 26 to create an action agenda challenging the many systemic barriers that keep people trapped in poverty.  The Moral Fusion Summit on Challenging the Racial & Economic Caste System in Washtenaw County will feature two sets of working sessions focused on systemic poverty and racism. Session topics are Criminal Justice, Education (K-12), Employment/Wages, Health, Healthcare and Disability, LGBT Issues, Environmental Justice, Housing, Immigration, Policing, and Veterans Concerns.
