Pathways to Success chosen for Hamilton Education Program

Pathways to Success, an alternative high school that strives to educate and inspire many of the community’s most resilient students, recently won Hamilton tickets and are in need of help to ensure every student can attend.

Almost 90 percent of the student population at Pathways qualifies for free or reduced lunch, many have experienced significant trauma, and all need something different than a large comprehensive high school can provide. Through multiple pathways and flexible learning opportunities such as online coursework, community internships, dual enrollment opportunities, traditional direct instruction blended with project based learning, students can meet the State of Michigan graduation requirements, along with the opportunity to earn college credits.

For the exceptionally low price of $10 per student, every single Pathways student has the opportunity to attend a special performance of Hamilton. The Pathways staff is working to ensure that every student can attend free of charge.

The money raised will cover the cost of tickets and transportation. This opportunity is possible thanks to the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the Rockefeller Foundation, and your donation.

Pathways to Success was chosen for the Hamilton Education Program. It entails a curriculum that is implemented and culminates in seeing the production on April 11.
