The Educational Foundation of Dexter’s annual spring gala is quickly approaching, and we would love for you to join us this year! Last year we had record turnout at this wonderful event.
This year, our 30th annual gala, Spring Zing Auction & Eats, will be held on April 12, 2019 from 7-10pm at Zingerman’s Greyline. Over 150 parents, teachers, business leaders, and community members attended this event last year. The food is what you come to expect from Zingerman’s. Delicious! However the real draw is the friends, neighbors and fellow parents who all come together on one night in support of the Ed Foundation.
The Ed Foundation is a group who supports high-quality education enhancements to students within the Dexter Community Schools. We do this by funding teacher-authored grants for programs and initiatives which cannot otherwise be funded by the district. We proudly reach every campus in the Dexter Community Schools from Pre-kindergarten through High School to the Alternative Education program.
We have funded nearly $870,000 in grants since 1985! During our most recent Fall 2018 grant cycle, we funded a record $23,012 and hope to meet or exceed this amount for our Spring 2019 cycle. As a valued member of the community, we would love for you to join us for what promises to be a great evening including Silent and Live auctions, Raffles, Wine Pull, Mystery boxes and more.
