Farmer’s Market

May 2019 will mark the 14th anniversary on Alpine Street in beautiful downtown Dexter for the Farmer’s Market. The Farmer’s Market is open May through October.

Days and Hours of Operation:
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Jolly Pumpkin 5K

The Jolly Pumpkin 5K will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 starting at noon. The route is provided in the link below and involves streets in the Industrial Park and Dexter Crossing. One side of the road will be temporarily closed as the runners pass by, however block captains will be present to help cars that need to leave or enter the impacted areas.

Town Hall meeting

A Town Hall meeting on City Facilities will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9 a.m. at the Dexter Senior Center. The meeting is an opportunity to gather public feedback on the ideas that have been studied for the future of the City Office, Sheriff’s Substation and Fire Station.

Monument Park Gazebo improvements

Maintenance work has been scheduled on Monument Park Gazebo stairs starting the week of April 22. The work is expected to take between 1 and 1.5 weeks to complete. While this work is taking place, residents are asked to avoid the gazebo area. Sidewalks and the remainder of Monument Park will continue to be accessible while work takes place.
