Detour Ahead: Road construction projects starting next week


Fuller Road from the Huron River to the easterly end of Fuller Court​: Monday, April 29-Friday, May 3. 

Beginning Monday, April 29, 2019, intermittent single lane closures in one or both directions of travel will be in place along Fuller Road to accommodate intermittent road repairs as part of the City of Ann Arbor’s Street Surface Treatment Project​. This work will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and is expected to continue through Friday, May 3, 2019, weather permitting.

The contractor(s) will maintain bicycle and pedestrian traffic during construction.​

Detroit Street: Monday, April 29-Friday, May 3, 2019. Beginning Monday, April 29, Detroit Street between Catherine and North Fifth Avenue will be closed to traffic for repaving and brick work.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.​ ​

First Street at Huron Street: Tuesday, April 30-Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Beginning on Tuesday, April 30, First Street will be closed at the south side of Huron Street to allow for installation of electrical utilities.

Southbound traffic will be detoured westbound on Huron Street to southbound on Mai​n Street to eastbound on Washington Street to First Street. Pedestrian through-traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times.

Extended: Third Street: Monday, April 15- Friday, May 3 , 2019. Now extended through Friday, May 3, northbound Third Street between Washington and East Huron Street remains closed to vehicle traffic. Northbound  vehicles are being detoured eastbound on Washington to northbound on Ashley to westbound on East Huron.

Pedestrian through-traffic is maintained on one side of the street at all times.  ​
