Regional: Karen’s Trail is 2019 charity partner for third annual Oberun

We can’t think of a better way to mark the first day of summer than a 5K dash through Wiard’s Orchard and enjoying an Oberon beer!

Karen’s Trail is thrilled to be the 2019 charity partner for the Oberun for the third year in a row, thanks you Running Fit Events.

A Fun 5K Run/Walk celebrating a summer fave at the finish – Bell’s Oberon!

Grab some friends, mark your calendar and get ready to celebrate summer on June 21.

The 5K dash end at the Bell’s Beer Garden serving up cold Oberon! Pair this summer favorite with a bottle opener finisher’s medal, a finisher’s pint glass, a sweet shirt and we’ll even throw in corn hole to top the night off!

Fun course hosted at Wiard’s Orchard in Ypsilanti. We will take over the back 40 where there are fire pits, sand volleyball and plenty of room for some good ole corn hole!

Food trucks will be on site. Save a few minutes and pre-order online with your registration! Or, grab your brew and get in line for some good grub from the truck!

You can support the event by racing or volunteering for HWPI. Click here for race details or to register for the 5K: http://runoberun5k-ypsi.com/  Look for volunteer information coming soon!
