Antique Appraisal Day May 4
Antique appraisers from DuMouchelles Art Gallery in Detroit will return to the Dexter Area Museum on Saturday, May 4 from 9:30 – 3:30 for the Dexter Heritage Guild’s Antique Appraisal Day.

Spring Concert: “Bugs Bunny in Concert” May 5
Dexter Community Band wraps up its 2018-19 season with a tribute to the golden cartoon era when classical music backed up the antics of Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd and Tom and Jerry. The 3 p.m. concert on May 5 will be held at the Center for Performing Arts in Dexter High School, 2200 North Parker Road, Dexter. The band will also perform familiar melodies from Looney Tunes and other cartoon classics. The 85-member Dexter Community Band performs four free concerts a season. More Information

Night at the Museum May 10
Night at the Museum – Join us from 7 to 9 pm May 10 at the Dexter Area Museum for an artifacts tour of the facility featuring our new Bible Display.   In addition Richard Ashley will be present to run and discuss the Hoatlin Model Train, a big draw for many who come to the Museum.

Perennial Plant Sale, May 18
St. Joseph Church will host its 11th annual Perennial Plant Sale on Saturday, May 18 from 9 am to 5 pm., at 6805 Mast Road (corner of Mast and N. Territorial). Please use the Mast Road entrance. There will be a large assortment of Michigan hardy plants, trees and shrubs. Most plants are $1- $5. Fill in your garden with these low cost perennials.

Farmer’s Market

May 2019 will mark the 14th anniversary on Alpine Street in beautiful downtown Dexter for the Farmer’s Market. The Farmer’s Market is open May through October.

Days and Hours of Operation:
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
