Golf: Skyline tees up win over Pinckney to improve to 4-0 in SEC

 
The Skyline golf team defeated Pinckney on May 2 in an SEC crossover match. The teams just beat the rain as the match finished up. While the Eagles had a tough go at the very tough Whispering Pines, they still came out with a win for both Varsity and JV.

The varsity is now 4-0 in the SEC.

Shaunak Bhagat fired a 38 to lead Skyline. Vimal Alokam carded a 42 and Joe Trudeau shot a 45 to finish among the leaders. Both Luke Richard and Trevor Hahn shot 50s on the day for the Eagles.

On the JV scorecard, Henry Hescheles shot a 45, Nathan Lee carded a 48 and both Luke Warhurst and Parker Ward shot 57s.

Huron Meadows, May 1:

Weather turned out better than expected for the JV team as they competed at Huron Meadows Metropark with 16 other teams. Started cold and rainy, but turned into a  decent day.
Team finished tied for 4th out of 17 (there were 3 teams at 363 and one at 364 – every stroke counts!). The Eagles shot the following on the par 72 course:
Ryan Schmunk – 84
Henry Hescheles – 90
Nathan Lee – 93
Parker Ward – 96
Moritz Boettger – 110
