Master Lockman’s Black Belt Academy to Host Second Women’s Self-Defense Class June 1

After the success of his first class, Master Brandon Lockman will host a follow-up women’s self-defense class on Saturday, June 1st from 1:45 to 4:45 p.m. at The Black Belt Academy in downtown Dexter.

Thirty women attended the initial self-defense class held in April, learning valuable concepts and techniques that can make all the difference in an attack situation.

In this follow-up class, Master Lockman and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, Jessica Mitchell, will review the information previously covered and demonstrate new techniques.   There will be a simulation drill in which all attendees will participate, as well as some voluntary drills.

To register, visit or call the Academy at (734) 904-1346.  Class size is limited to 30 participants and the deadline to register is May 25th.
