Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) expands membership eligibility

The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) is excited to announce that the Youth Council has expanded its membership eligibility to include high school students across Washtenaw County!

The Youth Council consists of 25 students who award over $80,000 in grants each year to support youth programs and services throughout Washtenaw County. This is a unique chance for youth to make an impact in their community through philanthropy and service. Criteria for Youth Council membership includes:

· Freshman, sophomore or junior in high school for the 2019-2020 school year (priority will be given to 9th and 10th graders)

· Live in Washtenaw County

· Ability to attend meetings at AAACF in downtown AA (transportation costs can be covered by AAACF) on Sunday mornings and afternoons (the committee meets 1-2 times per month).

· Ability to attend an in-person interview during the weekend of September 21-22

The Youth Council is committed to selecting members who offer a diversity of perspectives, experiences, identities, cultures and backgrounds.
