The Dexter girls’ cross country team finished in the middle of the pack on Saturday at the competitive DeWitt Invitational. The Dreadnaughts crossed the finish line with 229 points to place ninth out of 16 teams.
Okemos was first with 58 points followed by DeWitt (80), St. Johns (111) and South Lyon (122).
Sophia Grant led the Dreads across the finish line. The senior ran a time of 21:13.4 to place 24th overall.
