Saint Joseph Mercy Health System to host health ministry seminar in Manchester

Saint Joseph Mercy Health System will host a gathering of faith leaders and a national expert in Manchester on October 15 to explore the concept of Health Ministry.  Attendees of the event, which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., will have an opportunity to learn how to care for the body, mind and spirit.  Nationally recognized Health Ministry speaker Tom Pruski RN, MAPS, DMin, from the Institute for Community Engagement at Wesley Theological Seminary Downtown, will offer the event’s keynote address.

The event will be held inside Sharon United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 19990 W. Pleasant Lake Rd. in Manchester.  The cost is $25 per attendee, which includes a light breakfast and lunch.  There are additional incentives for faith organizations that bring at least one clergy, one health care provider and one church council member.
