Women’s Exchange of Washtenaw (WXW) to Host Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 30

The Women’s Exchange of Washtenaw (WXW) will hold its 12th annual Forum on Wednesday, October 30 at Washtenaw Community College. The all-day event features interactive workshops, exchange sessions and a panel discussion.

Local businesswomen Debra Powers, founder of Power Marketing, and Carrie Hensel, founder of Inner Circle Media, formed WXW in 2007 as an organization for women in business to talk through issues. Since then, WXW has engaged with hundreds of women from hundreds of companies across Michigan. In addition to the annual Forum, WXW hosts monthly events on personal and professional development topics.

“WXW is proud to bring together so many amazing women for a fun and inspiring lineup of speakers,” said Megan Mazurek, WXW President,  “The Forum is one of my favorite days of the year. The event attracts women across industry and at all stages of their career.  You can feel the positive energy in the room and everyone walks away with a new insight or connection that will help them achieve their goals.”

From building your personal brand to navigating leadership or decluttering for a clear mind, this year’s Forum offers attendees a variety of workshop topics to choose from that match their goals. In addition to workshops, there’s plenty of time to connect and exchange with other women – the signature experience of all WXW events.

The Forum will take place on October 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Washtenaw Community College. Tickets cost $130 and include breakfast and lunch.
