Youth on Stage: Encore’s Junior Program presents “James and the Giant Peach Jr.”

The Encore Musical Theatre Company Junior Program presents its fifth production with “James and the Giant Peach Jr.,” based on the classic novel by Roald Dahl.

James and the Giant Peach Jr.” tells the story of a young boy who finds adventure in the most unlikely of places; under a peach tree. As James dreams of a life away from his evil aunts, he stumbles upon a wizard who offers him a magic potion. Through a series of mishaps, James creates the biggest peach the world has ever seen, complete with a rather creepy crawly set of characters.

From the composers of the Broadway smash hit “Dear Evan Hansen,” Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” is a colorful take on this classic tale. Follow this young boy as he finds out just how giant the world truly can be.

“James and the Giant Peach Jr.” at The Encore Musical Theatre Company.
