The Educational Foundation of Dexter’s Annual Spring Gala is quickly approaching, and would love your participation!
EFD is a non-profit organization that supports high-quality education enhancements to students within the Dexter Community Schools. We do this by funding teacher-authored grants for programs and initiatives which cannot be funded by the district. We proudly reach every campus in the Dexter school district from Pre-Kindergarten through Dexter High School, including the Alternative and Special Education programs.
We have funded nearly $1 million in grants since 1985! During our most recent Fall 2019 grant cycle, we funded $25,402 in teacher-grants and hope to meet or exceed this amount for our Spring 2020 cycle. While we accept and solicit donations throughout the year, our Spring Gala is our largest fundraising effort, and this year we celebrate our 31st Annual Gala. This event, aptly named The 2020 EFD Spring Gala, will be held on April 24, 2020 at Weber’s Atrium Ballroom. Over 150 parents, teachers, business leaders, and community members attend this event each year. In fact, response from the community in attending our event has been overwhelming, and we have sold out of tickets for the last several galas.
All donors will be recognized at our gala and featured in all promotional materials. Since we anticipate time is one of your most precious resource, we are pleased to offer a more streamlined way to donate this year.
