Coming Soon: First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor hosting benefit concert on March 1

First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor is hosting a special benefit concert on Sunday, March 1 featuring the music of Josh White Jr., Kitty Donohoe, Peter Madcat Ruth, Matt Watroba, Mike Ball and others. Net proceeds will benefit Lost Voices, and the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor Peace Committee.

The event begins at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 1.

Tickets are $25 adults, $10 students, $40 family and under-12 are free. Tickets in advance at lostvoices.org or at the door

Lost Voices is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps young girls and boys recover from trauma due to neglect, abuse, violence, addiction and human trafficking. bringing them hope and healing through song writing and performing workshops. Since 2006, Lost Voices has brought hope and healing to more than 2,500 children in Michigan.

The RCAA Peace Committee’s mission is to work locally and globally for peace, social justice, and the non-violent resolution of conflict. In addition to Lost Voices, we work with other area organizations such as the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice on special events and projects. The Committee also collaborates with the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Wayne State University to present an annual 2-day peace conference.

Rotary is dedicated to six areas of focus to build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
