A Special Meeting of the City Council will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 6 pm via the online meeting platform Zoom. The purpose of the meeting is to consider action to allow additional outdoor seating/retail space for businesses in the City.

Plastic Bag Recycling
When the City Office reopens to the public on Monday, June 15, 2020 we will not be collecting plastic bags for recycling, because the recycling facility is not currently accepting them. Once they start accepting plastic bags again we will make an announcement that collection has restarted.
Absentee Ballots for the August 4, 2020 Election
Ballots for the August 4, 2020 Election will be mailed out the week of June 22, 2020. If you would like to vote absentee, we would like to request that you return your absentee ballot application as soon as possible. The City will be mailing out an unprecedented number of ballots and it will be helpful if we can mail as many as possible in one large batch. Applications can be placed into the drop box at 8140 Main (next to the door to the Sheriff’s substation), mailed or (starting Monday) dropped off to 8123 Main or e-mailed to jbreyer@dextermi.gov.
