Vote411.org: Helping prepare voters for Nov. 3 General Election

The League of Women Voters of the Ann Arbor Area, which serves all of Washtenaw County, is urging voters to prepare for the upcoming Nov. 3 General Election, by visiting
VOTE411.org, and also by taking advantage of the local printed voter guides created by the League, which have been delivered to all clerks, libraries, senior housing, and social service
agencies.

The website, which the national League of Women Voters launched in 2006, serves as a “one-stop-shop” for nonpartisan election-related information and responses to relevant
questions for federal, state, and local races, and ballot proposals. Available in Spanish as well as English, VOTE411.org assists voters in finding their polling places, polling hours, voter
registration information, as well as learning about candidates. Videos of local candidate forums are available to voters as well. Additional resources for how to navigate elections during the
COVID-19 pandemic are included.

The local printed voter guides have been put together for each school district area in the county. The information is the printed form of what voters can find online at VOTE411.org . All
local contested races in the cities, townships, and school boards are included, as well as local proposals, and countywide races for judges, state house representatives, and county
commissioners. This is the first time the League has been able to offer this service to Washtenaw County voters, and we hope people take advantage of the information.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that aims to encourage informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major
public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. VOTE411.org and the voter guides, like the League, are nonpartisan and offer information on candidates in
races for all political parties.
