Coming Soon: UMRC Music Series Presented by the Elizabeth Loder Fund

When: Jan. 7 – March 25

A 12-week video series – Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Twelve musicians, singers or musical groups will be selected to produce one-hour high quality performance videos for this series. Each video will be broadcast to UMRC’s residents on their closed circuit system at its Chelsea Retirement Communities in Chelsea, MI and Porter Hills in Grand Rapids, MI.

The UMRC is a community of older adults with diverse backgrounds: farmers, to retired pastors, to business professionals, teachers and health care workers. They are as active as they are able, friendly and caring about each other and the world, and curious, lifelong learners. They continue to appreciate the beauty of music and the arts. With COVID-19 limiting opportunities for interaction, the UMRC Music Series presented by the Elizabeth Loder Fund is sure to brighten the winter days for residents with this gift of music.

A call for area musicians, singers and musical groups. Applications from members of The Arts Alliance are considered first if received by end of day Jan. 5. Find membership information here. Additional selections based on earliest submitted and meeting criteria. All applications due by Jan. 12
