Help Dexter celebrate Louie’s 94th Birthday

BIRTHDAY PARADE FOR LOUIE CERIANI

This Saturday, Feb. 6, longtime Dexter Lions Club member and local hero Louie Ceriani will be turning 94 years old. The Lions Club and community members are planning a drive-by parade for him to show him he is not forgotten during this time of isolation.

Folks will be lining up at noon at 2nd street and Edison, then do a drive by his house.

Like many of us, especially seniors, Louie has been away from everything that he holds dear and loves – the people of Dexter, especially the students. No basketball games to work, limited football games as he had to keep his distance from the team, no tree lot to work, no Apple Daze.

There is nothing better than to watch him light up when he gets around people. So if you’d like to let Louie know you’re still thinking of him, please join us this Saturday at noon.
