United Way of Washtenaw County Opportunity Fund Now Open: $200,000 in Funding Available

United Way of Washtenaw County announced that its Opportunity Fund is accepting applications from local non-profit programs. These grant investments provide support for organizations whose work benefits people with low incomes, communities of color, and historically and/or systemically marginalized people.

For over 100 years, your local United Way has been working to create a more equitable Washtenaw County where everyone achieves their full potential. UWWC continues to invest in safety-net services focused on health, education and financial stability to advance our vision of a community where your zip code no longer predicts your opportunity in life.

As part of this work, the FY21 Opportunity Fund grant portal is now open. Please visit www.uwwashtenaw.org/grants to review the full purpose, eligibility guidelines, and timeline for this grant opportunity. The packet must be reviewed before scheduling a pre-screening call. The Opportunity Fund is for new and emerging programs and does not resource ongoing/core services of local organizations.
