The Dexter boys’ golf team started its season on Monday at the 20th annual U-D Invitational held at Detroit Golf Club, Home of the PGA tour event Rocket Mortgage Classic.
The Dreads finished third overall with a team score of 322 in the meet won by U-D Jesuit with 315.
Senior co-captain Jack Kolka led Dexter with an 18-hole round of 75 to finish tied for second overall as an individual.
Junior co-captain Dom Sortor was 13th overall with a round of 80, while senior Joey Fracassi was 19th with an 82.
Sophomore Nikos Mikos shot an 85 to finish 27th and senior Lucas Koone shot a 95 to finish 39.
