Girls Basketball: Pnacek, Lewis help lead Dreadnaughts to easy win

Sydney Pnacek hit four triples and dropped 26 points on Lincoln and the Dexter girls’ basketball team had four players reach double figures in an easy 72-31 victory over the Railsplitters at home on Tuesday night.

A senior, Pnacek hit 9 of 17 shots, including 4 of 8 from beyond the three-point line, to lead all scorers. She also grabbed six boards, had three steals and two assists.

Maggie Lewis also had a big game for Dexter. The senior made an impressive 6 of 9 shots to finish with 14 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. She also had a couple steals.

Brianna Rodriguez knocked down two triples and had 13 points along with four steals. Freshman Alena Blumberg had 12 points and four rebounds. Chloe Perry had five points and five rebounds.

Dexter led 19-11 after the first quarter and blew the game open with a 16-7 run in the second quarter and a 23-8 third quarter.
