With the artists officially checked in, the 11th Annual Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival is underway! Artists from across the country will spend the week painting the beauty of the Dexter community, ending with an exhibit, art sale, and reception on both Friday, August 18th, and Saturday, August 19th. See the itinerary below for events that can be enjoyed by artists and patrons alike:
- Monday, August 14th through Friday, August 18th
- Artists paint in and around Dexter.
- Wednesday, August 16th
- Youth Workshops ($10 per child)
- Elementary Age – 12:00pm to 1:30pm
- Middle School Age – 2:00pm to 4:00pm
- High School Age – 4:30pm to 6:30pm
- Youth Workshops ($10 per child)
- Friday, August 18th
- Art Exhibit and Sale begins at 2:00pm in the Monument Park Tent Gallery
- Wine and Craft Beer Reception from 2:00 – 8:30pm in the Monument Park Tent Gallery
- Musical entertainment in the Monument Park Gazebo from 7:00 – 9:00pm
- Saturday, August 19th
- Art Exhibit and Sale continues from 9:00am – 8:00pm in the Monument Park Tent Gallery
- Children’s Art Event in Monument Park from 11:00am – 2:00pm
- Musical entertainment in the Monument Park Gazebo with light refreshments in the Tent Gallery.
