The Dexter tennis team held serve on its home court on Thursday afternoon against a competitive Bedford team in an SEC dual-meet. The Dreadnaughts won all four doubles matches to score a hard-fought 5-3 win over the visiting Kicking Mules.

“So far, so good,” said Dexter coach Robert Smothers. “We have a big tournament at Fenton High School on Saturday that will start to shape our post-season aspirations. We have some big matches coming up over the next couple of weeks, and I’m excited to see how things unfold.”
