Trinity Health Ann Arbor Robotic Surgery Showcase 2023 Sept. 11 in Ypsilanti

ANN ARBOR  To help the public learn about the newest, most advanced minimally invasive robotic procedures available, Trinity Health Ann Arbor is hosting a three-day Robotic Surgery Showcase. Members of the community will hear from surgeons and get a hands-on opportunity behind the controls of the robotic surgery platform.

This event will also serve as a celebration for the robotic surgery program at Trinity Health Ann Arbor, which was recently named a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation. This accreditation reflects the hospital’s success in meeting or exceeding patient safety and quality care standards in robotic surgery.

WhenMonday, September 11 – Wednesday, September 13 from 2-6 p.m.

WhereTrinity Health Ann Arbor’s One North Event Center (next to the main entrance lobby). The hospital is located at 5301 McAuley Drive in Ypsilanti.

WhatFrom 2-5 p.m. each day, participants will have the opportunity to learn from surgeons about how these robots are used in the operation room, as well as have an opportunity to use it firsthand. From 5-6 p.m., surgeons will take part in a Q&A and present attendees with general information on their respective expertise. Oncology and Acute Care surgeons will participate on September 11, while Gynecology and Pelvic Floor surgeons will participate on September 12, and Bariatric and General surgeons on September 13.
