32nd annual 2023 Remodelers Home Tour Oct. 28-29

ANN ARBOR – It takes a special relationship with your home improvement contractor to open your freshly remodeled space to hundreds of visitors. We are fortunate to have 13 projects in Ann Arbor that will be welcoming the public to see hands-on examples of homes which have been transformed, updated, and improved.  The 2023 Remodelers Home Tour, now in its 32nd iteration, is featuring the largest collection of projects in the last 10 years.  This unique weekend event is happening on October 28th and 29th, with homes open from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The Tour helps people to examine design solutions and to learn about materials and components, while giving them tangible examples of the quality of work from local building professionals.

Projects range from entire home rebuilds to bathroom remodels, with many expanded kitchens, refined living spaces, and lifestyle-changing additions in the mix as well.  Visitors are encouraged to talk with the company representatives at each home about their hopes for doing a future remodeling project. Companies can hear people’s reactions to their finished work, and line up future clients. It is a great way for to find a firm people feel comfortable with.

Homebuyers are increasingly turning to remodeling and home additions given low home inventory in our area and increased mortgage lending interest rates. The Tour could be the perfect place to start the process.
